The first day of Oktoberfest started with a shot of this spider sculpture located in the Mueller area, Austin, TX. The sculpture stands 23 ft. (7 m) tall, is named Arachnophilla, and is made by sculptor Dixie Friend Gay.

This is the control tower of the old Robert Mueller Municipal Airport in Austin, TX. It was built in 1961 and closed in 1999 when the new airport opened.
